Presentations are one of the first skills which a manager must acquire. A presentation is a fast and potentially effective method of getting things done through other people. In managing any project, presentations are used as a formal method for bringing people together to plan, monitor and review its progress.

We believe the best way to improve presentation skills are through practice. The programmer’s uniqueness is in its structure that allows participants to prepare and make presentations multiple times and be critiqued by a supportive coach.

Programme structure

Making Effective Presentations is a 3-day programmed structured in the following manner:

1 – day session with 12 - 15 participants where the participants receive theoretical inputs on making effective presentations. Participants will gain a wide range of practical experiences through numerous exercises (such as games for voice modulation and body language, specific practice on impact introductions etc). Each of the exercises provides a different challenge and helps participants refine their skills. Participants also practice their first presentation and receive feedback on their current skills.

This is followed by two one-day sessions. The group would be split into two. Each participant would make a presentation and receive feedback from peers and the facilitator. Each of the participants thus spends only half-a-day each time while for the facilitator would spend the full day.

Video feedback will be available for all presentations
